Margaritaville Capitola is looking for an experienced full-time floor manager. We are a first-class casual restaurant located right on the water in Capitola Village, serving freshly prepared Mexican Cuisine. We take pride in operating a professional establishment dedicated to providing high quality service and food in a beautiful environment. Job Description:

• 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
• Perform restaurant opening and closing duties
• Manage the floor 5 days/week to ensure that all guests feel welcome, and are given responsive, friendly service
• Be physically present and mentally aware of guests, employees, and overall operations
• Hands-on management structure with strong focus on guest satisfaction, and uphold company policies and standards of service.
• Understands and upholds Standard Operating Procedures, Training Programs, and other FOH regulatory systems
• Reports directly to Key Management. Communicates daily regarding the shift and overall operations

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years management experience in a high volume, full service restaurant.
• 2 years serving and/or bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Highly energetic and engaged, with a strong ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, management team, and guests.
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment, while promoting teamwork and positive employee morale. Has a positive and supportive management style.
• Effective communicator. Able to give/receive feedback as opportunities for growth.
• Enjoys coaching and teaching, and is able to motivate staff during both busy and slow times
• Fluency in POS, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Food Safety certified
